Founder & Principal

A leader in the retail real estate industry, Tisha Maley is known for her innovative merchandising approaches, ability to identify and secure emerging fashion retailers, and value creation strategies. In 2013, she founded The Maley Co. to connect the next generation of retail brands with unique shopping environments and deliver valuable interactions with their core customers.

Previously, Tisha worked for Simon Property Group, one of the largest REITs in the country where she oversaw a portfolio of 1.7 million square feet of retail space in Atlanta and Charlotte, was consistently ranked as one of the top performing leasing representatives and brought 23 new retailers into the REITs portfolio. Tisha’s remerchandising strategy and volume of closed leasing transactions at Lenox Square and Phipps Plaza resulted in double-digit rent growth at these two prized assets during the depth of the recession (2008-2011).

During her 20 years at Simon and now as principal of The Maley Co., Tisha continues to cultivate relationships with leading luxury, contemporary and emerging retail brands. She maintains a broad and deep network of relationships with real estate decision makers at global and national retailers including: Arhaus Furniture, Bottega Veneta, C. Wonder, Facconable, Intermix, Jack Rogers, JOE’S Jeans, Kate Spade, Legoland Discovery Center, LK Bennett, Nike, Prada, Rebecca Taylor, Tory Burch, Trina Turk, UGG, Versace, Vineyard Vines and Zara.

Tisha attributes her success to thinking like a retailer and studying their ever-evolving customers while acting like a portfolio manager and strategically positioning her assets to realize their greatest potential. Throughout her career, Tisha has worked on and improved the performance of some of the most prestigious retail properties in the  country including: Lenox Square, Ponce City Market, Phipps Plaza and Westside Provisions District in Atlanta, GA; Southpark Mall and The Village at Southpark in Charlotte, NC; Dadeland Mall in Miami, FL; The Galleria in Houston, TX; and 900 North Michigan Shops in Chicago, IL.

Her unique mix of east and west coast style and sensibilities stems from growing up in California, graduating from San Jose State University in San Jose, CA with a B.A. in Economics and raising her family in Atlanta since 2002.
